George (Jorge) was a good friend and neighbor. He enjoyed riding around town with me getting his prescriptions, taking care of his banking, visiting the post office and buying grocery at the Jewel. I tried to get him to go to Pete’s Fresh Market but he wouldn’t hear of it, Jewel had everything laid out just the way he liked it.
Jorge had a good sense of humor, we’d joke and laugh as we rode around, enjoying life. He told me, many times, how good it felt to get out of the building for a while.
El me ayudo con mi espanol ( He helped me with my Spanish) which I never got quite right.
I enjoyed his company and he will certainly be missed!
