So very sad to hear of the loss and our sincere condolences to the family and especially my cousins and their children. Have very fond memories of Aunt Janet. When I was as young as 8or 9- she was always the “hippest” and loved to be with her!
Blessings to all during this difficult time.

I’m so sorry to hear about Aunt Janet’s passing. She was too young. I pray the family finds comfort through God and in the fact that I always remember her having a big smile on her face and a fun disposition. My condolences and blessings.

Have many fond memories of Janet, her parents and siblings. Our families shared many great times, and sad ones as well. May she rest in peace, knowing what a significant impression she left on us, and how grateful we are for knowing her.

Dear Greg, Tim and the entire Cerven family,
I’m am so sorry for your loss. I’ve known Janet almost as long as I’ve known Greg. She was a sweet, funny and kind person. I loved to talk to her as she was very interesting and fun to talk to. She will be greatly missed by everyone that has known her.

Praying for many blessings for Janet and the family. I know she will be truly missed. I can remember back in the day visiting her home. She was such a great hostess. Always putting others needs ahead of her own.

My family and I are deeply saddened by the loss of cousin Janet. Even though it’s been too long since we’ve seen the Kowalec family, we all have fond memories of the times on Wolcot(?) and how wonderful and happy Janet and the family always were to us.

On behalf of the Borowiecki Brothers (i.e., Larry, Tony, Marion (“Boz”), and Fabian), I extend all our condolences and prayers to the families and friends of our dear cousin, Janet. We lived next door to the Kowalec and Balter families when they lived at 4850 S. Wolcott in Chicago. Janet and her sister and brothers were our closest cousins and schoolmates. Janet was our occasional babysitter in our younger years. We know that she raised a little bit of hell and quite a bit of laughter when she passed through the pearly gates into heaven.
