Andrew Chervinko, 92, WWII Army Veteran, beloved husband of the late Ruth, nee Schroeder, loving father of Margaret Chervinko, Kathleen (James) Hummel, Andrew C., Steven (Giovannina), Paul (Carol), Robert, Jennifer (Robert) Dietrich, and the late Glenn (Deborah). Devoted grandfather of Sara, Matthew, Keith, Kyle, Courtney, Kayla, Anastasia, Alexis, Nicholas, David and the late baby-girl Dietrich; Great-grandfather of Anthony, Armani, Xavier, Adrian and Ayden. Fond brother of all of the late John (Ann), Ann (Frank) Zalesiak, Marie (Matt) Vavrek, Catherine (Edward) Severino, Michael (Helen), Helen (Cyril) Van Goethen, Margaret Chervinko, Mabel (John) Hardy, Matthew (Anna), Nicholas (Helen) and Barbara (Charles) Kveton. Dear uncle and friend of many, especially Kristie Stasi. Andrew was a member of the St. Pius X Holy Name Society for over 20 years, and a past employee of Sunbeam for over 45 years. Funeral Tuesday, October 28, 2014, lying in state from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m., at St. Pius X Church, Corner of 43rd Street and Oak Park Avenue, Stickney, IL.
