Dear Murawski Family, How fortunate I was to have worked with your kind, caring and intelligent mother, Bernice, at United Charities of Chicago between 1978 and 1982. She was legendary around the agency for her passion to detail and was always willing to assist with proofreading of the newsletters and annual reports I created in my position each day. Her love for her family had no boundaries, and I will never forget her devotion to your grandmother and father during their extended illnesses. May happy memories of he long life comfort you at this sad time.

Phil & George and the entire Murawski family, I am very sorry to hear about your mom. I had a wonderful time as President of the West Town Hospice volunteers for five of the eight years with Bernice always there to give me guidance and courage as we all planned out fund raisers to always help those that needed theFriendshelp . Your mom was very kind, and always willing to lend a hand. With her help, she was part of history, as the Friends won lobbying efforts for a free-standing hospice home in the late 80s that Gov.Jim Edgar signed into law. Any hospice facilities that are stand-alone today, are results of your mom and all the great volunteers that supported our lobbying efforts. Take care and God bless you all as he Blessed Bernice with 96 years. Sincerely, Mark A. Rizzo
