Eugene Kulaga

Eugene “Gene” Kulaga, Aug. 3, 1925 – Dec. 22, 2018 beloved husband of Charlotte “Honey” nee Gunia for 69 years. Devoted dad to Joanne Nicolow (Kendall Apelgren) and Tom (Phil Desiere) Kulaga. Loving grandpa of Justin Nicolow. Sweetest great-grandpa to William Kai Nicolow. Predeceased by sisters Isabelle (late Joseph) Olszowy, and Adeline Kulaga and brother Marc (late Arlene) Kulaga. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Member of Downers Grove American Legion Post 80, American Merchant Marine veteran WW II and SS Peter and Paul Holy Name Society. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Honor Flight Chicago.

Memorial visitation Monday, April 15^th, 9:30am until time of Memorial Mass 10:00am at St. Joseph Church 4801 Main Street, Downers Grove.

Funeral lunch to follow Mass 11:15am-12:45pm at Bohemian Crystal Restaurant 639 Blackhawk Drive, Westmont.

Inurnment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery 2:00pm. Family and friends are asked to meet at the information center by 1:45pm.
