Frank J. Hosticka Jr., of Liberty, Mo., formerly of Stickney, IL, passed away February 22, 2015. Frank was born February 7, 1928 to Frank Sr. and Bessie (Flemer) Hosticka in Chicago, IL. Frank served in the Army during W.W.II, he was the personal pharmacist of General Eisenhower. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus, and counselor for the Clay County Prison Ministry. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and an example of Christianity for his family and community. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 61 years, Madeleine; and a brother, Allen Hosticka. He is survived by his six children, Alice (Michael) Roper, Ann (Jack) Martin, Aline (Kevin) Mirus, Mark (Suzanne) Hosticka, Geralyn (Kurt Esfeld) Hosticka and Gerette (Romualdo) Carravetta; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Evelyn (Robert) Mazzoni and sister-in-law, Josephine Hosticka. Entombment Friday, February 27, 11:00am at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum by 10:45am.
