Gertrude Margaret O'Reilly

Gertrude “Trudy” Margaret O’Reilly, 91, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2024, at LaGrange Hospital. She was born August 10, 1932, in Oak Park, IL, the daughter of James and Gertrude O’Reilly. She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved cousin Bernadette (Albert) Bax and extended family members. She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Michael (Kathy) Bax, Thomas (Carol) Bax, Robert Bax, and Cathy (Steve) Wincup and many great nieces and nephews. Trudy graduated from Notre Dame High School and Rosary College and spent her entire career as a Spanish teacher at Niles West High School and Hauser Middle School in Riverside. She was a faithful Catholic who loved travel, the arts and her family and friends.
