I remember Auntie Ettas smile grace and cookies! A great memory is when I took Auntie Etta and my Mom, Gert, downtown Chicago. Looked at the boats in Burnham Harbor. Then hot dogs in the museum parking lot. Thise two ladies had smiles like 2 year olds. They loved hot dogs!! Tom David

Dear Carol, Beth, Laurie, Your Mom was an amazing woman. so very kind, sweet and hospitable. I recall when visiting, that Auntie Etta would always make sure sure I was well fed, and even though full, I couldnt resist another piece of her mouth- watering toasted coconut cake. I remember the many fun evenings My Mom and Your Mom would have playing Rummy Cube and how fast they could add up their scores compared to how slow I would add up mine! What a delightful pair of sisters Gert and Etta were as was the entire Pekny clan! I miss them all, but they are in our hearts -never to be forgotten.
