I was so sorry to hear that Irene had passed. Irene was fortunate enough to live a very long and fulfilling life, but that doesnt make her loss any easier. She was a wonderful woman. I remember Irene always having a smile on her face and she was such a warm and caring person. She was my Moms best friend and she will be deeply missed. Irene is being welcomed into Heaven by her family and friends who have passed before her. I know my Mom and Dad will be happy to greet her.

John and Sue, We had some great times with your mom at your home. Your mom was very welcoming. A favorite memory of mine was when we were sitting around the table in Deerfield and She was making that wonderful chocolate frosting for a birthday cake She smiled and handed me the bowl to lick! Love, Sooz and Ken

When I think of Aunt Irene, I think of kindness, hospitality, a servant heart, intelligence just to name a few characteristics. Her and my mom were good friends; my mom never thought of her as a sister-in-law, she was a sister to her and always had time for my mom. And she was a kind sister to my dad. I know Sue, John, Ray,Rich, Kathy, and grandkids, youll miss her being a part of your lives though shes done with all the limitations and suffering of this life. God bless you guys

COACH and family, I am very sorry for your lost, I havent yet experienced the loss of a parent but I have lost all of my grandparents. I can only imagine the grief & sorrow that youre experiencing right now. I know its easy for me to say, but TRY to reflect on the good times and celebrate an amazing 98 year life than to dwell on the loss. I love you all and I greve with you. Thank you for what you do for us it means more than you will ever know. I love you all.
