James Bachman

James F. Bachman, age 90 of Lombard, formerly of Arlington Heights and Riverside. U.S. WWII Navy Veteran. Beloved husband of Patricia, nee Florian, loving father of Rosanne Bachman, James J. (Kathleen nee Graham) and John (Anna nee Litch), cherished grandfather of Samuel J., Joanna E. and Sophia L., dear brother of Mary Lou, the late Elwood and the late Curtis Bachman, fond friend to many. Jim loved reading, only non-fiction and classical music. Jim’s favorite words of wisdom were “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a battle.” Jim’s battle is now over, Rest in Peace. Funeral Friday, October 6, 10:30am Prayers at Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home, 2447 S. DesPlaines Avenue, North Riverside to St. Mary Church 126 Herrick Road, Riverside, Mass 11:00am. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, 3:00pm-8:00pm.
