On behalf of Jims niece, Lee McConnel, myself, and our children, Kendall Mahn, Matthew McConnel and Caitlin Hemphill, we want you all to know of our sympathy at this time. Years ago, Jim and Blanche offered me their hospitality when I attended a seminar outside of Chicago. It had been a stressful time, and they displayed the meaning of family to me, an in-law, from a very small family. It was a real awakening. Although we didnt see much of Jim over the years, we greatly valued the support he gave to Lees mother during WWII and enjoyed the contacts we had with him as our family grew. God Speed, Jim.
