Beloved husband of Gloria nee Skender, loving father of John Jr. and Ron (Michele, fiancee), cherished grandfather of Brittany and Briana, dear brother of the late Daniel Zitek, fond uncle to many. John was a member of the Stickney American Legion Post #687, Berwyn Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. #839, Medinah Shriners, A.A.S.R. Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, Chicago Police Sergeants
