Lawrence A. Waszak, age 93 of Forest View. U.S. Korean War Army Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann (nee Kubinski) Waszak, loving father of Michael (Linda McVickers and the late Lynn Gacek-Waszak) and Mary Waszak-Ruzicka, cherished grandfather of Larry (Fai) Waszak, Eleanore Waszak, Nina (Tony Quiroz) Waszak, Kristin (Peter) Berghoff, Michele (Terry) Devereux, Jessica (Jordan) Wilkey, Olivia Ruzicka and great grandfather of Eleisa, Layne, Liam, Logan, Clay, Maya, Peyton and Sophie. 

Lawrence dedicated 30 years of his career as an electrician at Electro-Motive, where he was known for his strong work ethic and skill. 

Outside of work, he embraced life to the fullest. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, camping, listening to music and relaxing with a good cigar. 

Above all, Lawrence cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy. 

Lawrence had an infectious energy and an unmistakable zest for life and fun that left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
