Lee Listermann, 78, U.S. Army Veteran of W.W. II, died
August 28, 2007 after a battle with lung cancer. Beloved husband of 52 years to the late Joan nee Schlax. Loving Father of Cindy Hurckes (Carlo Rizzo), Mike (Sue) and Ray (Pat). Cherished Grandfather of 7 and Great-Grandfather of 12. Fond Uncle and Friend to many. Lee was a 35 year member of Teamster’s Local 705 where he retired as a truck driver for Dakota & Murphy Motor Freight and Tucasz. He was a Trustee for American Legion Post #96 and a member of the VFW Post #6869. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, building dollhouses, playing horseshoes and fishing. Funeral Friday, August 31, 11:00 AM Chapel Service at Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home 2447 S. DesPlaines Ave., North Riverside. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery. Please Omit Flowers. Visitation Thursday, 2 pm to 9 pm.
