Leticia
Caride
May 16, 1973 – April 18, 2026
Leticia Cervantes Caride, a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and faithful servant of God, passed peacefully into the loving arms of the Lord on April 18, 2026, at the age of 52 with her husband by her side. Born on May 16, 1973, Leticia was the cherished daughter of Rosa and Enrique Cervantes, who raised her with strong values, deep faith and a profound love for family that she carried throughout her life.
Leticia was the devoted wife of Bob Caride and the proud and loving mother of Bobby Caride, whom she cherished beyond measure. Her family was her greatest calling, and she lived that vocation with unwavering love. She was also the devoted caregiver to her beloved dog, Bugsy, who brought her daily comfort and joy.
She is survived by her siblings, Hank Cervantes, Sal (Clarice) Cervantes and Marissa Schilke; sister-in-law Wanda Cervantes; devoted aunt to Vanessa Davis, Vince (Natalie) Schilke, Christie (John) Cervantes McGurk and David Cervantes; and great- aunt to many. Leticia held her family close to her heart and was a constant source of encouragement, warmth and compassion to all who knew her.
A woman of vibrant spirit, Leticia loved to dance – finding joy, expression and freedom in music. Her laughter was infectious, and her presence brought light wherever she went. She dedicated over 30 years of service to Southwest Airlines, where she was known for her lively spirit, dedication and strong work ethic.
Above all, Leticia was a brave warrior. She faced life’s challenges with remarkable courage and steadfast faith, trusting fully in God’s plan. Her strength, resilience and grace were an inspiration to all who walked beside her, and her faith guided her through every season of life.
Leticia now rests in eternal peace, welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven by her loving Savior. Though her absence leaves a profound ache, her legacy of faith, love, courage and joy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Leticia will be greatly missed by everyone.
She now dances in the presence of the Lord, where pain is no more and joy is everlasting.
