In lieu of flowers, memorials to your favorite charity in honor of Lois would be appreciated.

Lois was a vibrant, beautiful force that lived life to the fullest.  She would say her greatest achievement would be the 7 children that she raised; each one different than the other, but they share a strong bond of love, friendship and support for one another that truly is inspiring.

Lois was an incredibly talented lady.  She loved to sing and dance.  Some may remember her starring role in “Mame” many years ago with the Riverside Theater Guild.  She cherished being part of the St.Mary’s variety shows with her late husband Jack.  Taking on numbers like “Honey Bun” from South Pacific and “Sue Me” from Guys and Dolls, just to name a few.

The past several years she has been an active, independent resident at Plymouth Place and she just loved living there!  She was always on the go and so generous with her time.  She volunteered whenever she could – supporting those in need with her hospice work and through the church as a Catholic worship deacon.

She touched so many lives with her warmth, vivaciousness and humor.  She will be truly missed.

I did not know Lois well, but worked on many programs with Jack including with the Friends of Small Business and the Economic Development Council. It is hard to believe it has been 18 years since Jack passed, and Lois continued her activities.

Lois was more than just a client of ours, she was a dear friend. She lit up the whole salon when she came in, whether it was from sharing a story of hers or just cracking jokes and singing songs. She will be missed greatly. Her memory will not soon be forgotten. From Shannon, Andriana and Ellie of Salon 811
