My sincere condolences go out to the whole family. When I was a single mother about 30 years ago or so, God blessed me and lead me to Maria Vargas and to amazing large family and extended family. She cared for my son when he was very young and for many years as I was able to work and hold a job without worrying about his safety and well being. It gave me great peace of mind. If I had not met her and her family, I am not sure how things would have been for us during those years. She opened her household and treated us like family. She has always kind and did not judge. Even with a bustling household with a lot of family in and out, she also took time and a cup of coffee for me was easy to talk to and always listened and offered her viewpoint and experience with different matters. My son who is now grown, has many memories of those years in their house and he was treated very well by your mom. Although I was not in contact too much after that season of time, I was able to attend a birthday celebration about 5 years ago and Im glad that I did. It was that last time I was able to see her. To the Vargas family my prayers go out to you. You all were her whole world and meant everything to her. I know this loss leaves you with a huge void. I know you will all be reunited again. Praying that the Holy Spirit will dwell within you and provide the comfort that you need so much right now.

Words fail to express the sadness we all feel for the loss of your mom. But as I sent the picture of Fefe and Maria to the rest of my family everyone said the same thing she has not changed a bit . We all realize how many hearts she touched with her happy smile and warm heart. We are praying for Gods peace and love to comfort you all in this time of sorrow . Even though we can not be there with you all we will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers . Please know that we love you and are here for you. From our Family to yours may God bless you all. Much love from the Maldonado Family : Hermano German, Keti, Angel, Julio, Mimo and Nelson & Zoraida Hernandez
