I met Nick in Kindergarten in 1957. For the next 30 years or so, we raised a lot of hell. Nick, Scott & Gene are gone; Jim, Joe, Roy, Les, Mike, Terry, Neal, Frank, Jerry, Kevin, Bob Barton, Crowfish, Jim Gribbon & I are all on deck. We all had a great time growing up in Cicero, IL. Most of us all drifted apart, but we are and always will be, friends. Nick was a kind, gentle soul who always had a smile on his face. He suffered his illness with grace and dignity. I will miss my friend but whenever I see a bottle of Jack Daniels I will remember our times hiking at Starve Rock and his Subaru BRAT.

Please accept my deepest condolences to the entire Styler family. When I think about my childhood I think about a carefree time in my life. A lot of those happy times have to do with the people that help make those memories. All those times camping, boating & going to the zoo where extra special because they were with my Godfather. Your unwavering strength & bravery over the last few years was incredibly admirable. You will be truly missed Uncle Nick.

I met Nick at UIC Cancer Treatment Center. Nick loved his family and talked about them often. He always seemed to enjoy life no matter what he was enduring. Hes probably organizing a party in his better place as we speak:) I am so sorry for your loss. RIP Nick.
