We met Ralph while he was working at World of Disney. We never met before, but we had a connection as we live in Riverside. He was so extremely gracious and encouraged my husband and I to follow our dreams and become seasonal cast members. We emailed each other and enjoyed talking Disney with him. Last November we met Ralph again at Disney, totally by accident while waiting for a boat to Hollywood Studios. I recognized him and, after refreshing his memory, he remembered us. We shared a lovely ride and delightful conversation. He was a very nice person who came into our lives by accident but Im sure for a reason. We are sorry for your loss please accept our sympathies. Sincerely, Kathie & Tom Dutkiewicz, Riverside

We are so sorry to hear about the sudden loss of your father. Our deepest sympathy to Derek and family. I knew Ralph since 1974 at La Salle Messinger. I never knew a more upbeat, positive and kind person. His family is a true reflection of him. Sincerely, Larry & Joan Kozlowski

Ralph was one of those special people that brings a smile when you hear his name. That deep laugh, the quick smile. I dont think he ever met anyone that did not become a friend. I am glad he was one of mine. Our thoughts are with Ralphs family at this difficult time. Samantha and Paul Barton

My deepest sympathy to the entire Coffelt family. I got to know Ralph over three years ago when he came to stay at the resort where I work Outdoor Resorts at Orlando. He was working at Disney and commuting a great distance when he stopped in our office to inquire about rentals. He ended up renting three months and in that time he was a frequent visitor and caller to our office. Ralphs friendly demeanor, booming baritone voice and sense of humor brightened our day. We were pleased when he purchased a home here. Ralph loved to gamble and he introduced me to the world of the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa. Ralph knew exactly what machines to play but I had to wander around to find my favorite. Once I settled in, Ralph always played next to me. We laughed when we beat the machine and laughed when the machine beat us. Ralph was always good natured. In fact, one time he gave me his winnings to continue playing while he visited the restroom. Upon seeing that I had lost everything upon his return, he just smiled and said Oh well, Ill just have to win it back. Needless to say, I was shocked to hear of Ralphs passing. I will always have happy thoughts of him and great memories of our time together. Please let me know if I can help out in any way.

I was shocked and sorry to hear of the untimely death of your father, Ralph. I worked with Ralph for many years at La Salle Messinger, La Salle Whitaker, & Unisource. My deepest condolences to Derek, Alyssa, Harper, and their families for the loss of Ralph. Shortly after meeting Derek I was invited to meet Alyssa and Ralph. Although they barely knew me I was graciously welcomed and their home was opened to me to see and talk about the wonderful collection of juke boxes and pinball machines. And of course, we discussed the paper business a bit! Its evident that Ralphs kindness has been shown to a lot of people as many I have talked to speak of it and his generosity in sharing his knowledge and sense of humor. May you find comfort in the fondness of memories of him.
