Richard James Jiracek, age 89 of Willowbrook. Beloved husband of Marlene (nee Nichols) Jiracek, loving father of Virginia (Paul Carroll) Rodrigues and Patricia (Kevin) Zipsie, cherished grandfather of Maximilian Rodrigues, Amalia Rodrigues, Samuel Rodrigues and Claire Zipsie, dear brother of the late Gerald (Fran Keller) Jiracek. 

Richard dedicated 38 years of service to Com Ed, where he built lasting friendships and took great pride in his work. 

A lifelong Chicago Cubs fan, he celebrated every season with unwavering loyalty and enthusiasm. 

Above all else, he loved his family. Nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his children, especially his grandchildren, who were the center of his world. His kindness, sense of humor and devotion to those he loved will be remembered always.
