Our Agency of Love

This funeral is not your good-bye
Or our good-byes as we gather here.
With military trumpets
And Shannon Rovers
Wailing bagpipe so-longs
As we gather here to remember you.

This funeral is our hellos
We meet together as one
In the joy you gave us.
With Ave Marias
And praises to the Lord
This funeral is not your good-bye.

This funeral brings us together
A re-beginning of our love
A continuance of you
Our revival:
Our beings: alive and departed.
This funeral is not your good-bye.

Our deepest sympathies to you and your families for your loss. Richard was a great, sweet, kind-hearted man and our family is forever grateful for all the help Richard and Laverne gave us when we needed it... always willing to lend a hand and be there no matter what the circumstances. Such a sad loss to so many and will be forever missed. Richard and Laverne are together again, and they are dancing.❤ Robert Johnson Family

Fondly remember our times together with Dick and LaVerne, especially the laughs at his classic wit. Beyond that who can forget our memorable trips together with old JCU Glee Club, and not to forget the riotous class reunions, especially our 25th!!

Sending much love from our family to yours in this trying time. The Murphy family, with Dick at the wheel, was such a beacon of light to everyone. Growing up with Ric and getting to interact with his family was always pure joy.
