Ruth L. Palmer

Ruth L. Palmer, nee Holakovsky, age 96, of Elburn, formerly of Oak Park. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth D. Palmer, loving mother of Sue (Christopher) Stoughton and the late Timothy Palmer, cherished grandmother of Geoffrey (Melissa) Brigham and Melissa (Kevin) Stanner and great grandmother of Samantha, Geoffrey Jr., Gabriel, Ainsley, Sydney and Zoe. When Ruth lived in Berwyn, she was very active in the St. Odilo Altar and Rosary, Girl Scout Leadership and Catholic War Veterans. When she moved to Oak Park, she became involved with the Oak Park Women’s Exchange and Project Linus. Visitation Tuesday, September 13^th, 9:00am until time of Funeral Mass, 10:00am at Ascension Catholic Church, 808 East Avenue, Oak Park. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
