Susan Schleitwiler of Melrose Park

Susan Lynn Schleitwiler, age 71 of Melrose Park, formerly of Lyons. Beloved daughter of Alice and (the late) Robert Schleitwiler, and “Cousin Susan” to the extended Schleitwiler and Travnicek families. Before retiring for numerous health challenges, Sue was a faithful employee of many local business in the near-west suburbs, including Tischler Finer Foods in Brookfield. Friends will remember her as a talented crafter and jewelry-maker, and a forever loyal Elvis fan. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, private graveside service and interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
