Walter was my first boss in the fluid power industries, At Deltrol fluid products, my first job out of college, 38 years ago. I have always remembered Walts unique style of nervousness management. He always reminded me of Jack Lemmon. His style of making himself seem confused to make you realize what he wanted you to think, Ive never met another man like him. My condolences to your family and all of his friends.

Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Walt. My memories of him go back to before we went to first grade at St.Casimirs on the South Side of Pittsburgh. Our fathers were friends, so when we visited his fathers bar Walt and I would play in the backyard. Our friendly relationship continued throughout twelve years of schooling. We always got along well together. He was a good friend, and Im sure throughout his life he had many friends as his personality welcomed them! I promise to remember Walt and your family in my prayers. Worked with Walt at Motion Industries for more than five years. He was a kind soul. Always had a smile when he talked with you. Very good at his job and always, always made time for you and found your items you needed. He will be missed by Motion Industries. May God give the family peace! He was loved.

We are deeply saddened to hear of Walts passing. My company, Tejas Hydraulics, is a customer of Northman and I had the pleasure of talking to Walt on numerous occasions. Walt was always one of people I looked forward to talking to and rarely were our conversations limited to strictly business as he enjoyed engaging with his customers on a more personal level. My condolences in your time of loss.
